What a success for this adorable couple who came from the USA to celebrate their love in the Luberon Natural Park, France. It’s hard to know where to start as everything was beautiful, whether it was the venue, the light or the team that helped make the wedding happen! It was the first wedding that took place at Domaine du Fortin, an exceptional 5* Mas located in Ménerbes, 10km from Gordes. Philippes and César accomplished a miracle and this rich 18th century residence deserves a stay in itself!

When it comes to planning your dream wedding in Provence, choosing the perfect venue is undoubtedly key. The venue sets the tone for your entire wedding day. But designing the style of your wedding is equally important. The design and aesthetic choices—ranging from floral arrangements to the overall color scheme and decor—are just as crucial as the venue itself. These elements bring your vision to life and create a cohesive, stunning atmosphere that will be reflected in your photographs and video. To achieve the perfect balance and create a truly exceptional wedding experience, we highly recommend hiring a professional wedding stylist. He/she can help you pull together all the visual aspects, ensuring that every detail, from the flowers to the table settings, complements your chosen venue and creates a seamless, luxurious look. With a stylist's expertise, your Provence wedding will feel truly unique. For example, Lindy & Adam's wedding took place at the Domaine du Fortin, and Caroline and Alric's wedding at la bastide de Gordes, a few km further. Even though we were the photographer/videographer team for both projects, the style is not the same. Of course, the lavender fields are only in bloom from June to July, but the design - and colors - is really what also plays into the rendering and style of the images!
Provence offers breathtaking landscapes and an enchanting atmosphere all year round, but the season you choose will significantly shape your wedding experience. Each season in Provence has its own unique charm. One of the most iconic features of Provence is its lavender fields, which are in full bloom during the summer months, typically from late June to early August. If you dream of exchanging vows surrounded by endless rows of purple, planning a summer wedding is essential. By the way, learn how to plan a photoshoot in the lavender fields in Provence. However, it’s important to keep in mind that lavender is seasonal, and after the harvest, the fields transition back to their natural state. For couples who prefer a cooler climate or wish to avoid the peak tourist season, spring and autumn offer equally magical settings, with blooming flowers, lush greenery, or golden vineyards providing stunning backdrops. Even in winter, Provence has its own cozy charm, perfect for intimate indoor weddings in luxurious châteaux or rustic villas.
Choosing the South of France for your wedding means embracing the extraordinary magical light —a soft, golden radiance that creates an unparalleled atmosphere of romance.
